The saga continues! Two weeks ago, Emanuel Ungaro blasted his eponymous design house’s controversial new fashion consultant, Lindsay Lohan, calling her first collection, “a disaster” — and now the label’s President and Chief Executive Mounir Moufarrige is hitting back, announcing that he has no plans to give Lindsay the boot.

“Yes [she's staying on], she has a job to do,” he told Reuters at the Milan Fashion Global Fashion Summit on Monday, Nov.23. As for the criticism directed at Lindsay, who notoriously sent models down the runway in pasties and bras, Moufarrige says, “The criticism was harsh. I am sure we can do better in the collection to be honest but I think it was harsh,” before adding, “But it did sell well.”

And as for the founder’s criticism of the design house’s new direction? “Mr Ungaro has his views, he can keep them,” Moufarrige says. “I have no comment.”

I am very dissappointed with the attitude of some very average units posting messages on this forum. Please show some respect. Lindsay and Avrile are fine young women of impeccable integrity and moral fibre. Anybody that says otherwise needs a reality check.

Well I think that the overwhelming majority of young ambitious attractive and intelligent women are in complete agreement that the gold standard in role models for the future generation are Avril Lavigne and Lindsay Lohan.

I have to admit that I was unaware that Avril and Lindsay were such good friends. But it makes sense. Two very young,attractive, ambitious women who have a common interest in charitable organisations such as meals on wheels. Good luck to both of them.

Yes I think that Avril and Lindsay are quite good friends. As to wether they actually deliver meals on wheels together well that is for others to speculate on. All I know is that they are both very nice unassuming young women who are excellent role models for all.

I know quite a few people in Australia that had meals personally delivered to them by Avril Lavigne during her last tour. Also my friends have told me she prefers to remain anonymous so does not dress up when she is delivering meals on wheels.

Although I have no special interest in extolling the virtues of Lindsay Lohan, I am quite sure she is a very caring person since she is quite friendly with Avril Lavigne so they possibly go out together when delivering food for meals on wheels. I guess they prefer to do this annonymously since I hav ...
