Are Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith headed for a split?

Maybe so - according to RadarOnline - which reports the couple, who haven not been photographed together in over two months, are 'living apart' as they undergo a 'trial separation' after 15 years of marriage.

Pinkett Smith hinted at trouble as recently as last week when she appeared at a charity event in Baltimore, telling the audience that “when you are going through a storm with your spouse, stop thinking about what you ‘believe’ a husband or wife should be.”

Pinkett Smith also reportedly told the crowd, “I thought success would make me happy… It does not.”

When reached for comment on the couple’s marital issues, Smith’s mother, Carolyn Smith, told RadarOnline “Isn’t that personal? Thank you for your concern.”

This isn’t the first time that the couple have weathered rumours of a split, though.

Back in the summer of 2011, US magazine, In Touch reported the pair were headed for divorce after Jada and her Hawthorne co-star Marc Anthony reportedly got cosy while filming. Anthony later called the rumour "laughable."

In April, Pinkett Smith told Gala magazine, “These rumours [of a split] are completely untrue. I travel a lot because of my work, just like Will does. But our lifestyle hasn’t changed. Before we had the kids, we were already far away from each other quite often because of separate projects.”

Rumours ramped up last month when new reports claimed that the Smiths had put their $42 million dream home on the market after selling off their Hawaii estate. Their rep later called the claim “completely false.”
