Even a world-class beauty like Megan Fox went through an awkward phase.

The pregnant actress, 26, shared three photos of her 12-year-old self via Facebook July 6. "I encourage you to admire my citrus/copper-colored highlights (thanks Sun-in!), my braces and my ever present sunburn," the Friends With Kids star wrote. "And yeah, I'm brushing my eyebrows with a toothbrush in that one picture."

It's not the first time Fox has poked fun at her appearance on the social networking site. In February 2011, she created a Facebook album titled "I Look Like Steve Buscemi" that featured two pictures of her as an infant. Five months later, Fox added four self-snapped shots to a new album, "Things You Can't Do With Your Face When You Have Botox." The latter featured the star furrowing her brow and pointing out naturally occurring lines in her forehead.

It's not surprising that Fox is taking a walk down memory lane, given that she's expecting her first biological child with her husband, Brian Austin Green, 38. (She coparents the actor's son, Kassius, 10, from his previous relationship with actress Vanessa Marcil, 43.) "They're thrilled about the baby!" an insider recently told WHO Magazine.

The timing was perfect for Fox to tackle the greatest role of her life: motherhood. "The pregnancy was planned," according to a pal. "She has wanted a baby with Brian for a while."
