Sydney fashionista Kate Waterhouse has married her beau of five years, former footballer Luke Ricketson, in the Sicilian village of Taormina.
For the nuptials, held at San Giuseppe church and reception at the Grand Hotel Timeo, the Sun-Herald fashion editor wore a stunning Vera Wang gown with her bridesmaids, including sister-in-law Hoda, wearing blush, one-shouldered Carla Zampatti dresses.
“I feel like I’m the luckiest girl in the world to marry Luke,” Waterhouse told the Sydney Morning Herald. “He is everything and more I would want in a man and to have family and friends share our special day in such a beautiful setting is a dream come true.”
The picturesque Italian location holds a special place in the hearts of the Waterhouse family. Having holidayed in the area since they were children, brother Tom married his wife Hoda Vakili in the same coastal village last year. In the lead up to the wedding, the couple’s 80 guests enjoyed week-long festivities that included snorkelling, boat trips, cliff jumping and a treasure hunt.
The couple, who met at Melbourne’s Celebrity Grand Prix, got engaged on a romantic getaway to Florence last year.

The policy to stop the boats is there,all Taliban Tony needs to do is sign it and the boats will stop...so simple.I guess its ok for Beazley to do the right thing but different for Scabbot.
