Partying like a wayward teenager, popping pills and wasting away to skeletal proportions even prior to her November split to husband Ashton Kutcher, Moore was so frail when paramedics arrived to the home of the "shaking, convulsing" star on Jan. 23 that "they first thought she was a cancer patient," a source reveals to WHO. Moore's desperate insecurity and obsession with youth are to blame, and are ultimately what drove Kutcher away, adds the source. "She needed reassurance all the time that she was hot and sexy. She was not the person Ashton fell in love with anymore."
