Demi Lovato Returns to Treatment Center – as a Speaker

Already in the holiday spirit, Demi Lovato paid a visit to the treatment center she relied upon a year ago to deal with personal issues, the actress Tweeted on Sunday afternoon.

"Wow what an inspiring day... Many tears were shed and many memories were brought back at Timberline Knolls today," the actress, 19, wrote in a series of messages.

"Today I went back to the treatment center I went to last year, to speak to the beautiful women fighting their inner demons," said Lovato, adding, "was so honored."

"To be able to share my story and let them know that it gets easier. Life is beautiful.... You are worthy of it."

Timberline Knolls, in Illinois, refers to itself as "a private residential treatment center [that] treats women" dealing with a variety of struggles.

Lovato, who performed Saturday night at Chicago's Rosemont Theatre, concluded her report with, "Please say a prayer for all of those struggling with eating disorders, self harm, mood disorders, and substance abuse."
