Steve Tyler. Stevie Tyler. I want to be like him. I love him. He’s a rock god. What can we expect to hear from your next album?
It’s going to be a rock album. A good old commercial rock album. It’s going to be good fun. I write a lot of all my own songs so we’ll put a few of my songs in there. Why do you think Australia chose you?
I think I have really loyal fans, and I’m lucky I’ve got them. I’m also true to who I am. I don’t have to change just to make people happy. What’s the craziest thing a fan has ever done for you?
I’ve had a fan – a few fans actually – who have tried to jump into the window of a car with me a few times. They didn’t succeed. Now that the competition is over, are you ready to date?
I don’t know. I have to see what comes my way. We’ll have to see if I meet someone.Would you ever date a fan?
I would. It would have to be the right fan though.Everyone was speculating about you and Christina dating throughout the competition. With that out of the way, is there a future for you two?
Not sure about that. We are just really close friends. She’s a great girl though. I spoke to her last night, she told me she voted for me. That was really cool.Who was your favorite performer of the season?
Kylie Minogue on Monday night was insane. I loved Kylie. She was awesome. We got to spend awhile together, to make that connection, before everyone went out and performed which was cool. She told me to stay true to what I do which is cool because I don’t want to change and now she told me I don’t have to, so that was awesome.
