That was fast!
Kim Kardashian filed for divorce Monday just 72 days after tying the knot with Kris Humphries in a lavish ceremony that was taped for her reality show.
"I've spoken to her briefly and she says she's sad and got caught up in all that was going on," Ryan Seacrest, who produces her show, said on his KIIS-FM radio program Monday morning.

She also says the couple has a prenuptial agreement and she doesn't want to pay spousal support to Humphries.
Humphries is said to have been completely blindsided by Kim's decision to file divorce papers. Humphries told TMZ.com, "I love my wife and am devastated to learn she filed for divorce," revealed the basketball player. “I'm willing to do whatever it takes to make it work," he added.

Kim Kardashian has opened up – just a little – about why she's ending her 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries. The reality TV star released a statement earlier, saying:
"I hope everyone understands this was not an easy decision," she says in a statement to E!, which airs her reality shows. "I had hoped this marriage was forever, but sometimes things don't work out as planned. We remain friends and wish each other the best."

Kim's younger sister Khloe, 27, who is happily married to LA Lakers star Lamar Odom, also reached out to Kim via her blog: “I just want to thank all of our amazing fans for your unconditional love and support," she said. "My sister is going through a very difficult time and your kindness right now means the world to all of us. Kim, we love you more than anything.”

For Halloween, Kardashian, dressed as Poison Ivy, hosted a party solo, telling WHO that her husband was not around because she was headed to Australia this week.
"Something I really prepared Kris for [was] to let him know that no matter what we do, there's going to be rumours," she told WHO. "It used to really upset me and now I don't even think about it."

Not suprising at all, they dont take marraige seriously and only did it for the money, I feel completely ashamed of people like this and annoyed they even make they front page, why should they? Kim is not a role model in any way
ReplyHope she (Kim) reads some of these comments. The whole charade is shallow and pathetic. Anyone who buys into this bull is sad!!
ReplyIs there really nothing that this "family" wont do for money. They are the ones making monkeys out of all of us as we feed their coffers through TV and magazine deals. DONT DO IT!
ReplyThis shows the modern phenomenon of the marriage being about the wedding, not the life that comes afterwards. People assume that staying married will be easy - a fairytale, but unfortunately, that fairytale takes a lot of work
ReplyDon't worry, I'm sure they found a way to make even more from the divorce than they did from the wedding! The problem with "reality" TV stars is that so often they can't stand normal, everyday life. If there isn't a photo opportunity, tantrum or drama to bring the paps running, they're lost. What better way than to get married, make over $18 million on endorsements and media rights, then get divorced and double dip? I doubt either of them has the depth of character to invest enough emotion to love so they shouldn't be too hurt by this minor indiscretion.
