    I like my meat, that said,I often go without like twice a week or so,not because I have too or any thing like that,but just because I do not feel the need of meat every day,and beside, I certainly enjoy my vegies,my fruits and nuts ,put it in claire, I enjoy a varied diet,and I think thats the way it schould be.     I have switched between vegetarian and meat diets for years and I haven't felt any difference either way. I have enjoyed both.

    Not vegetarian yet but the fact is the older I get the less I like meat. I look at all the dead animal muscle packaged up in plastic wrap and I just cant stomach the thought. I've given up red meat (apart from the odd chop) and eat mainly chicken and fish. Its not something I deliberately set out to do it just kinda happened. Its not like I'm some fanatical PETA supporter it just gradually happened of it own accord and now I'm getting sick of chicken. I guess I had better start sourcing some vegetable protein because at this rate it wont be long before I'm off fish too. Like I said it just kinda happened naturally without any prompting or planning on my part. Maybe my body is telling me something hmmm!!!!

    It is very sad when people make silly comments when trying to push their opinion. Remember, opinion is not fact, just what YOU believe. I'm not sure who cooked your baked dinner, but I have been eating them for a very long time and none have ever smelt like an abattoir. The outside of an abattoir smells just like the digested vegetable matter that comes out of the animals that are slaughtered. The inside of all the abottoirs in Australia that I have been through are spotless, even sterile. Maybe you visited one in some third world country! Maybe you are just talking a load of vegetable matter! Rather than reading something written by a DILL, I prefer my Dill served with a little sour cream on a nice boiled potato.

    If you think that being a vegetarian is a chore of some kind then you will never be a vegetarian. A real vegetarian just doesn't like meat! So it's real easy for them not to eat it! A baked dinner to me.....smells like an abattoir!!!
