Even very young babies will respond to melody, pitch and rhythm. You can hum them a lullaby before bedtime, sing them some nursery rhymes or even rock out your own favourite CDs and sing along. Music not only entertains, but studies show it encourages brain development at the same time! Use musical instruments if you have them, make your own with a wooden spoon and some tupperware, or clap hands and click fingers.

easy, look after hubby and he will entertain baby .... a lot ...
ReplyIf you can't think up your own ways of entertaining your child, you should never have had one in the first place.
1 ReplyYou would be surprised how many parents dump their babies at a day care and never do these basic things. It's sad really
ReplyThat's not a fair comment veritat. If a new mother didn't have a good role model growing up, perhaps she has to learn a few tricks. Don't be so mean.
