1. Working too much
The most common regret among parents was spending too much time working. This is a problem for almost all parents, including celebrities. Gwen Stefani previously said, "I've never been able to balance being a mum and my singing career-it's a nightmare." Stefani has two sons with her husband Gavin Rossdale. She says that in a decision including her children though, they always come first.

A poll of 2,000 parents shows that working too hard and not taking enough photos top the list of the most common regrets parents have of their children's early years.
