1 Place custard and sultanas into a medium-sized saucepan. Stir while cooking over a medium heat until hot. Remove from heat.
2 Meanwhile, to heat rice cups, peel film completely off the tops. Place rice cups in a 1000 watt microwave oven. Heat on high power for 1 minute. Holding the rims of the bowls, carefully remove cups from the oven as they will be hot. Cool slightly.
3 Pour custard and sultanas into a large bowl. Add apple and rice. Stir to combine. Divide between two serving bowls.4 Serve the warm rice pudding topped with fresh strawberries.
