Brooke Hanson’s eyes fill with tears as they rest on her tiny two-week-old son Jack. Her ‘little fighter’ entered the world 12 weeks prematurely via an emergency caesarean on July 8 at a featherweight 663g – after being warned he may be born a dwarf.

Doctors even described the serious ill premie’s outlook as a ‘nightmare’. ‘The last three months of my pregnancy were the most emotional,’ Brooke tells New Idea. The former Olympic swimmer Brooke, 33, and her husband of four years Jared Clarke are vowing to remain positive. ‘Every stage we get through is a blessing.’

    A very sad and worrying time for Brooker& her family, however reading the article further in New Idea I got very very angry, her doctor 'stated 'this is your worst nightmare you might be carrying a dwarf" what a disgusting insult this is to anyone born a dwarf or who gave birth to a dwarf, can anyone explain how being a dwarf is 'your worst nightmare"
