Shane Warne is seeing Liz Hurley

The retired Australian cricketer – who was pictured kissing the British beauty in London last week - has revealed he and Simone Callahan, the mother of his three children, Brooke, 13, Jackson, 11, and Summer, eight, are separated but remain close.

Under the title ‘Clarification’, Shane wrote on his website: 'Sadly and unfortunately, Simone and I split up a while ago, our close friends and family were informed at that time.

'It is a private matter so we did not make it public. We remain friends and will continue to be good parents.'

Shane and Simone have had a troubled relationship since their marriage in 1995, with Warne sending explicit texts to a number of women throughout their time together, eventually leading to a divorce in 2006.

However, the pair were seen on holiday together and were thought to have reconciled in 2007.

Yesterday (12.12.10), 45-year-old Elizabeth revealed her marriage of three years to Arun Nayer had ended 'months ago' following the pictures of her kissing Shane being printed in the News of the World newspaper.

Writing on her Twitter page, she said: 'Not a great day. For the record, my husband Arun & I separated a few months ago. Our close family & friends were aware of this. (sic)'

Elizabeth and Shane spent last Wednesday evening (08.12.10) and Thursday night (09.12.10) holed up in a hotel room in London together.
