Kate Hudson recalls kissing Heath Ledger

Kate Hudson has opened up about her onscreen kiss with late Australian actor Heath Ledger, admitting it was her 'favourite' one.

The 35-year-old actress stopped by Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen to promote her latest film Wish I was Here with Zach Braff and was put on the spot.

A viewer called in and asked Kate, "Who's been your best kisser from all your movie stars, or your costars? Excluding Zach, cause I'm sure Zach is a good kisser."

The Almost Famous star said: "I would say my favorite one was Heath [Ledger]. That was pretty excellent."

She added: "He was just so beautiful and sweet and gentle. I would say that, I look back at all of the… and that was really… he was lovely."

Kate starred alongside the late Australian actor - who died in January 2008 at the age of 28 - in the 2002 drama The Four Feathers.

She has also locked lips with other top A-listers, including Matthew McConaughey on more than one occasion and Matt Dillon, and Luke Wilson.
