Shakira expecting baby number 2!

According to a new report, Shakira is expecting her second child with Spanish soccer star beau Gerard Pique.

The 37-year-old Empire singer is said to be three months along and taking "a lot of precautions", according to Columbian news outlet Noticias Caracol.

Several friends, including crooner Carlos Vives confirmed the exciting news.

Carlos said: "Yes, she is pregnant and she's very happy."

Shakira and Gerard, 27, met while making the music video for the 2010 World Cup song Waka Waka. They are already parents to one-year-old son Milan.

Pregnancy rumours first began swirling during the World Cup closing ceremony a couple weeks ago when the pop star wore a more conservative outfit, however the couple have yet to comment on the news.
