Kelly Clarkson gave birth to her first child, River Rose a month ago, however the new mum can't stop gushing about the joys of being a first-time parent.

The 32-year-old American Idol winner opened up about motherhood via social media and recently admitted to having her first glass of wine since she gave birth.

On June 30, she tweeted: "I still can't believe I made a human. #topthat #firstglassofwineintenmonths #pump&dump :)".
On June 27, she revealed what she's most excited for as a new mum. She gushed: "Is it weird that I wait every day to hear my little baby laugh ….I just want to hear her giggle and all I get are quirky smiles :)"

Kelly and husband Brandon Blackstock welcomed their first born on June 14.
The doting mum first shared a photo of their newest addition to the family in a bright red carriage on June 20. She wrote: "Here is our beautiful baby girl River Rose; 6 lbs., 6 oz., 18 inches, and the greatest thing on the planet."
