Sarah Jessica Parker dishes on SATC 3!

Sarah Jessica Parker has dished the details on the possibility of a third installment of the Sex and the City movies during a recent interview.

The designer and entrepreneur, who is best known for her role as journalist Carrie Bradshaw in the HBO hit series Sex and the City from 1998 to 2004, spoke to an audience on June 16 during the Cannes Lion film festival.

SJP hinted at the possibility of a third installment of the Sex and the City movies during her interview and admitted: "We've never really had real conversation about it, other than that I know there is a story. I think it's a really lovely, wonderful story but whether or not we tell it remains to be seen."

While the hit TV series wrapped ten years ago, she reminisced about her earlier thoughts on the show and whether she thought it'd be successful.

SJP spoke to Cosmopolitan Editor In Chief Joanna Coles at the festival and recalled: "When the project was first presented to me, you have to remember that at the time HBO was a very different channel, it was a very male-orientated platform for distribution."

She added: "[SATC] was a voice that was new and it was slightly subversive and it had a point of view that was sort of singular so we couldn't look at anything else and say if that had success then we might."

The 49-year-old actress also spoke about her workout regime in the interview, admitting she has very little "stamina".

Of her gym habits she revealed: "I work out for a sum total of 22 minutes, because that's all I can bear."
