Hudson revealed to Star magazine that she worked hard to lose the weight she put on from her second child.

She said: "I devoted six hours a day to a vigorous workout regime.

Kate Hudson showed off her toned physique at the Venice film awards on August 30th. Right: A pregnant Kate glowed in yellow during the premiere of Something Borrowed last year.

"I would do 45 or 55 minutes of cardio then an hour of Pilates or yoga, three times a day."

The toned and trim star added:

"I'm not a dieter. I'm in the wrong family to be a dieter.

"My mum is always making chicken and dumplings. And I love scones, with clotted cream and jam. I can't not eat them!"

As Hudson reveals her post-baby workout, her fiancé has opened up about the birthing process.

Bellamy told Q Magazine: "Oh yeah, I was there at the birth. I was watching the whole thing.

"I was holding her leg up when she pushed him out. She didn't want me to watch but I was there, getting my hands dirty, so to speak."
