Alicia Etheredge-Brown, who is married to My Prerogative singer and Whitney Houston's ex Bobby Brown, suffered a seizure in a Florida hotel room on Saturday.
The incident occurred while Bobby Brown was doing a soundcheck for his show at the Gaylord Palms resort, and Etheredge-Brown was taken to a nearby hospital.

Brown confirmed the news on Twitter, telling fans:
"The report that my wife was rushed to the hospital is true. She is recovering and in good spirits. Please keep my family in your prayers."

Brown and his wife are in Florida for a concert celebrating the 30th anniversary of his R&B group New Edition.
The pair married in Hawaii in June after Brown proposed in 2010 at a New Edition concert.

Etheredge-Brown's hospitalization comes shortly after Brown checked into rehab earlier this month.
Bobbi Kristina, Brown's daughter with the late Whitney Houston, tweeted about her father:
"I love my father, very much and wish him well in all."
