Despite the time that has elapsed since she lost her life, her cherished boys, Prince William, 30, and Prince Harry, 27, readily maintain that Diana is always in their thoughts – and their hearts.

"She was the best mother in the world. She made us and so many other people happy," said Harry on his March tour of the Caribbean and Brazil.
"I always wonder what she’d think, what she’d be doing if she was with us now."

William added: "We’d like to think she’s proud of us. I hope that’s the case."
Princess Diana was sorely missed at Prince William’s wedding to Kate Middleton on April 29, 2011.

Thirteen months after his big day, Prince William opened up in a touching interview for US show The Jubilee Queen with Katie Couric:
"It was the one time since she’s died where I’ve thought to myself it would be fantastic if she was here. And just how sad really, for her more than anything, not being able to see it," Wills said.
