The Hobbit actor, 35, gushed about the 28-year-old supermodel in a radio interview on the Kyle and Jackie O show on Monday.

Bloom, who is currently in Sydney with Kerr and their 13-month-old son Flynn, said of his wife returning to the catwalk shortly after giving birth: "I was very proud of her. To have just had a baby and then got back up on to do that. I don't think it’s easy for those girls. They make it look easy, but you know, it's a lot of work to look good."
He added: "(Models need) confidence to strut it out there. There's always the people that want to have a dig at you for this that and the other. That's the price you pay."

Bloom also discussed his feelings about their young son Flynn, explaining: "He's a baby. I hate to not see him walking and crawling and doing all those things and I just like hanging out with him. It's the nature of our lives. Time sort of loses its perspective and where were you and what were you doing.... I don't want that to be that case with Flynn. I really want to have that connection and feel that bond."
The star also discussed spending Valentine's Day apart from Kerr, which he said is 'a tragedy' before joking: "She probably doesn't care."
