The younger sister of the Duchess of Cambridge opened up about her "brilliant" experience and said: "The hardest thing was the sheer endurance of it and not getting enough sleep. We averaged about three hours a night."
When asked if she suffered any saddle sores she joked: "It wasn't too bad. I think it was because I chose a particularly comfy saddle."

While she didn't experience any battle wounds, she admitted it was scary riding at night. She explained: "I found cycling at night quite intimidating. There was a few nights when we came across snakes, skunks and deer."
She also revealed her legs were sore in the beginning and admitted: "They were a bit wobbly at first but then I got used to it."
