Prince Harry: 'I'll make sure George has fun'

It looks like there are no hard feelings about being bumped to fourth in line to the throne for Prince Harry.

The new uncle and cheeky royal brother met his newborn nephew Prince George this week, and he already has plans for his 'fun' upbringing.

The royal brother visited new parents Prince William and Duchess Kate at Kensington Palace on Wednesday after the much anticipated birth of their first child.

And even though it might not be the first time a young fan has cried on meeting the handsome prince, Harry told reporters of his emotional first 'long cuddle' with his new royal relative.

"When I saw him he was crying his eyes out like all babies do I suppose," he said.

"It's fantastic to have another addition to the family."

He also had some ideas of his role as little George's uncle:

"To make sure he has a good upbringing, and keep him out of harm's way and to make sure he has fun.

"The rest I'll leave to the parents."

On whether his brother William is cut out to be a good dad, Harry said 'of course!' - but don't expect him to be on call to mind the bub on royal date night:
