The Queen's Diamond Jubilee celebrations are not over for Nottingham!
Stepping in to replace Prince Philip who is still recuperating following his release from hospital on Saturday, Kate Middleton and Prince William accompanied Queen Elizabeth II on a tour of the town - and made sure they had a good time!
JUBILEE CHUMS: Kate Middleton & Prince Harry joke around
The Queen travelled by train - yes, by train! - to Nottingham railway station where the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge greeted her. To a group of passengers waving flags on the other side of the tracks, William shouted: 'Are you waiting for the same train we are?'

After greeting the masses outside the Council House and meeting the Lord Lieutenants of Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire, Kate and Wills went to Vernon Park for a children's sports event and even had a go themselves!
The royal couple found their 'inner children' and took turns throwing a foam javelin, while the duchess pitched a tent and the prince played with a toy gun.

Nottingham City Council leader Jon Collins said: "As the capital of the East Midlands, it's great Nottingham's playing host to this royal visit.

"I'm sure that local people will give the royal party a warm welcome and will be excited about getting the chance to also see the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge as part of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations."

Recycling yet another royal outfit, Kate wore a delicate Missoni blue teal coat - the same coat she wore to London department store Fortnum & Mason in March.

Why do you keep calling William's wife Kate Middleton??? She is now a Duchess since her marriage to William and should be addressed as such. If you can't or don't want to call her by her proper title at least call her Williams wife NOT Kate Middleton - who she no longer is. Thank you!
