i missed this issue, on the fron cover it says were preganat who is that refering to?
ReplyRegarding the story in NI August 20, relating to "Katie's New Hell". I recall not too long ago seeing Tom Cruise on the Oprah Winfrey Show, he was crying about his abusive childhood. As an adult, he had the chance to break that cycle of abuse, instead he has carried it over to his relationships and become an abusive controlling bully.... I applaud Katie for her courage in leaving such a relationship and removing herself and her daughter right across the US to be near her family and also seek legal advice from her father. By doing this, Tom is retaliating, he has lost his "victim", he has no control over Katie now.... I was a victim of an abusive, controlling bully of a husband for 25 years before I "finally" got the courage to leave....It was very difficult, emotionally for a long time, and it will be the same way for Katie. BUT, take it one day at a time and with support of her family and close friends, she will get through this....Her main priority is for her daughter, to keep her as safe as she possibly can under the circumstances. peole who enjoy intimidating and abusing and bullying others are weak and insecure within themselves and they cover up that insecurity by bullying and by controlling.... Hang in there Katie....my thoughts and prayers go with you..... June, South Australia
