Kristen Stewart's real-life love triangle has been revealed, as she publicly apologises for cheating on Robert Pattinson with her married director.
The Twilight actress, 22, was photographed hooking up with her Snow White and the Hunstman director Rupert Sanders, 41, in Los Angeles on July 17.
After the steamy photos were published by Us Weekly, Stewart released a statement admitting to the scandal.

Stewart said in the statement:
"I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected.
"This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry."
A source told People Magazine: "Kristen is absolutely devastated. It was a mistake and a complete lapse in judgment."

The insider added: "She wasn't having an affair with Rupert. It was just a fleeting moment that shouldn't have happened. She never meant to hurt anyone. She's a good person who just made a bad choice."
Sanders, who has two children with his wife, actress and model Liberty Ross, also apologized for his actions.

He said in a statement:
"I am utterly distraught about the pain I have caused my family. My beautiful wife and heavenly children are all I have in this world. I love them with all my heart. I am praying that we can get through this together."

Pattinson, 26, has yet to speak about the incident, but a source told Hollywoodlife.com that he was '“Robert was completely blindsided by the news', adding:
"Robert actually found out about this via his people sometime on Monday when people at US Weekly contacted his people to tell them they were going to run the story. Kristen did not tell him about her cheating."
