Dan and Steph Mulheron moved Australia to tears whenthey vowed to devote their $250,000 My Kitchen Rules prize money to their IVF baby dream – and now, 16 months later, that dream has come true!
The Queensland cooks, who’d faced the trauma of IVF failure before entering the Channel Seven contest, have confirmed to loved ones that their longed-for first child is on the way.

A close friend of the parents-to-be says the joyous news is on everyone’s lips, "They’ve been trying for ages and now they’re finally pregnant and they’re so happy," the friend tells New Idea.
"Everyone is really happy about it. They’ve been dreaming of this for a long time and it’s amazing that it’s become reality."

"I can’t wait to become a mum," Steph, 32, has told New Idea.
"The MKR win has really helped set us up for parenthood financially."
