Top 7 sleepless night beauty fixes!

Burning the candle at both ends? Or is your toddler keeping you up? Either way, the lack of sleep is going to affect your complexion. But don’t despair, there are many clever products to hide and disguise!

1. Use a brightening balm
Apply a brightening balm after you moisturise. It’s perfect for minimal make-up wearers as you can reapply throughout the day when you need it. It will also help even out skin tone.

2. Try an enhancer
A complexion enhancer will make your skin glow, so apply strategically on your cheeks and brow bone, on bare skin or on top of your make-up.

3. Grab a light pencil
Draw on the inner and outer corner of your eyes to make them look whiter, brighter and more awake. Apply as a final step in make-up application.

4. Fake some colour
Bronzer not only gives you a healthier appearance, it also makes you feel as if you’ve had a bit of time in the sun (and doesn’t that always feel good!).

5. Add a primer
Primer is perfect if you are wearing a full make-up look as it will hold and keep your look fresh all day long. Apply a primer after your moisturiser, wait 10 minutes and then do your make-up.

6. Get a bold pout
Take a leaf out of Gwen Stefani’s book and wear a bright, bold lip for an instant pick-me-up! A strong-hued lippie will distract from tired eyes and, as a bonus, it’ll make your teeth appear whiter, too.

7. Conceal it
A light yellow-toned concealer will mask discolouration and brighten the skin to hide dark circles. Gently blend by pressing with your fingers instead of dragging the delicate skin.
