I have recently discovered the joys of online shopping. Between work, cleaning, playing with the kids, homework and the like, there's little time to hit the stores - which makes shopping websites a blessing in disguise.

While shopping on the web means you can shop anytime, anywhere, it has its dangers, as I found out last week. I came home from a long day at the office to find a large box sitting in the kitchen addressed to me. I looked at it perplexed, not knowing what it was, and opened it to find a lovely pair of shoes and a dress. I searched the invoice for answers, but all it said was that it was purchased with my credit card a few nights earlier.

Slowly my mind wandered back to that night. I remember coming home late, having a glass of wine and falling asleep on the couch. I woke up hours later and browsed the internet before going to bed. A quick search of my computer's history showed I had indeed knocked up a few purchases on a shopping website - but in my sleepy haze, had completely forgotten.

Either way, it was a lovely surprise. Hmmm, maybe I should make falling asleep on the couch with my computer nearby a habit...
