Each team must have a minimum of four participants. All team members must run the entire 10.7km and undertake all 10 obstacles. The team will be judged on the total times of the four fastest team members, not the average time.

If only four people have registered and one member cannot participate on race day, the participants will automatically become individual runners.

HOW DOES THE WAVE START WORK?
Each participant will be assigned to a wave start based on when their online entry was received. You are required to begin the race within your assigned wave. Waves will start at intervals, beginning from the official start time of the race. Each wave will consist of 50 runners and waves will be released at one-minute intervals. Once you have been allocated your start wave time, you cannot change it.

Timing headquarters will keep the official time clock for the competition. The race clock works in real time – it begins when a participant crosses the timing mats at the start and stops when they cross the finish line.

Staging for the race start will begin 30 minutes prior to the official start time. Participants need to look out for their assigned wave’s staging sign within the start area and line up on a first-come, first-served basis.

Both the timing chip and the chest bib are formal parts of the race procedure.
The chip records your time. It must be attached only to your shoes due to the nature of the obstacles. Your chest bib must also be worn.
