Smart hunting

The most desirable and engaging women in Australia (at least those putting themselves online) are usually to be found on RSVP.com.au, advises Jesse Fink, author of Laid Bare: One Man's Story of Sex, Love and Other Disorders.

"I’ve met many. Models. Actresses. Celebrities. But they’re not stupid enough as to put up a picture of themselves so as to solicit unwanted emails and kisses from hundreds of pushy and deluded men," says Fink.

"Thus, the smart online dater will make use of the 'Keywords' facility when he goes searching. Type 'appearance', 'looks', 'compliments' and other words you would expect a physically attractive woman to use in a dating profile. In their description these words might appear in a sentence such as: 'I get a lot of compliments on my looks but appearance isn’t everything."

"Appearance isn’t everything, of course, but mutual physical attraction is a good starting point for a relationship. So take a risk and send a kiss to a girl who doesn’t put up her picture," adds Fink.
