Working on regret

Women, on the other hand, are more likely to have romantic regrets.

About 34 per cent of men reported work-related issues as their biggest regret, versus 27 per cent of women, in a study of 370 adults by Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. When it came to romance, only 19 per cent of men reported it as their biggest regret, compared with 44 per cent of women.
The research also suggests that if you’re presented with an opportunity, you should take it. People who regretted events that they did not act on tended to hold on longer to that regret over time.
