Hamilton began working out when he was 13 years old. Now 27, the McLaren driver is constantly experimenting with new training styles to help give him an edge on the track. This season Hamilton begun incorporating CrossFit moves into his regimen, utilising the hardcore discipline’s limitless array of workouts to help fortify his body for the physical punishment of F1.
“Lots of people pump weights, but they don’t really condition their body in an all-round sense,” says Hamilton, fresh from a workout at Sydney’s Bangaroo. “With CrossFit there are so many different exercises that it really works your whole body and targets your core strength.” Use Hamilton’s routine to get your body firing on all cylinders.
Do the following circuit four times, resting for one minute between each round.
