    Office workers are usually under enormous pressure to do too much too quickly, because those further up the chain made ridiculous promises or didn't communicate/plan ahead, etc. The real issue is bad management and not having enough time to do stretches or have breaks to rest your eyes. Not to mention some companies have a negative culture of 'keep working at all costs', seeing it as slacking off if you even think about having a break. The ball & chain cartoon above says it all really.
