Having trained thousands of people in everything from glitzy city mega-gyms to tiny specialist centres, Doech says there’s one thing they all have in common: “gyms are like relationships: a good one is worth its weight in gold, but a bad one will see you fall into a rut, won’t make you happy and will probably take a long time – and a lot of money – to get out of.”
