Last week, marie claire magazine celebrated the best of the best in beauty at a stunning lunch at est. at Establishment hosted by marie claire Publisher/Editor Jackie Frank.

Recognising outstanding beauty products launched every year, as voted by both marie claire readers and experts, the highly coveted awards celebrate outstanding new beauty products in Australia.

The 2010 Beauty Award winners included Best Fragrance, Marc Jacobs Lola; Best Skincare Product (Splurge), Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex; Best Skincare Product (Steal), Olay Regenerist Micro Sculpting Cream; Best Make-Up Product (Splurge), Clinique Even Better Makeup SPF 15; and Best Make-Up Product (Steal), L'Oreal Paris Extra-Volume Collagene Mascara.

The internationally-established Prix d'Excellence de la Beaute Awards were given to Lancome Genifique Youth Activator; D.E.F.I by Avène; INOA by L'Oreal Professionnel; Yves Saint Laurent Teint Resist Foundation and Shiseido Perfect Rouge Lipstick.

Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill Mascara and Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream received the two Australian Prix d'Excellence awards and the Australian Prix d'Excellence Ethic award was presented to Viva Glam VI & The M.A.C Aids Fund.

Guests including Leah Wood (daughter of Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood), Sophie Lowe, Maeve Dermody, Erin McNaught, Kate Waterhouse, Carla Zampatti, Alex Perry, Terry Biviano, and Sally Obermeder, along with key representatives of the Australian beauty industry enjoyed a beautiful three course lunch with a French influence, along with French Champagne while the prestigious awards were presented.
