What do women really want? That’s the question that San Francisco-based marketing gurus Dalal Khajah and Josephine Wai Lin asked themselves when they were considering launching a start up business. The answer? A good looking, well-dressed bloke whose sole purpose in life is to do your bidding.

Enter Manservant. The brainchild of Khajah and Lin, Manservant is essentially Uber for pool boys and butlers and personal assistants. Simply head to the Manservant website and either let yourself be guided by their suggestions (bachelorette parties and “summer soirees” are their recommended events) or describe your fantasy scenario (one woman requested a Manservant to serve her food while singing songs from The Little Mermaid) and book your Manservant. (Full disclosure, currently the service is only available in San Francisco.)

Let’s be clear: Manservants are not gigolos. And they’re not sleazy strippers either. Instead, they are a bevvy of polished men who want to treat women like queens, as evidenced by their hilarious Youtube promo video.

“Everyone who watches [the video] thinks it’s a parody,” Khajah has said to Mashable. “Even the name of the company sounds like a joke. But it’s not.”
