Fashion icon Vivienne Westwood has teamed up with British interior design firm Cole and Son to design a range of wallpapers.

The 12 patterns, available in a number of different colours, take inspiration from prints and weaves Westwood has featured in her fashion collections over the years.

"It is good when my ideas get carried over into other artistic media," she says. "This collection is a perfect opportunity to be able to work with a heritage company like Cole & Son and to see my ideas from fashion translated into the world of interiors and wallpaper."

But don't expect safety pins, dog collars or bondage motifs. While you can spot signature Union Jack and tartan references, the bulk of the collection is pretty, chic and relatively restrained for the unique designer, who gained fame for her pioneering punk-rock look in the 1970s.
