DON’T: Wear a jumpsuit: Unless you’re Lara Bingle and can happily pull this look off, don't use Melbourne Cup as an excuse to try out a new style. The jumpsuit is best left off the track or reserved for Stakes Day, the most relaxed and casual event of the season. But don't let your style standards drop there either. While pants and flat shoes are a great choice, look for slouchy, man-style chic.
