    A black jacket, Chanel or otherwise, well worn and chosen is an accent to the outfit. The black is not so much boring and unimaginative as it is a shade which unlike other bold colours may be viewed as a part of or subtle touch to an outfit rather than the statement piece. In this case the sleeves are so goth and the Chanel piece is the highlight rather than a mere attachment. Not to mention black is dateless!!
