Uniform Project Auction

In May last year, Sheena Matheiken launched The Uniform Project, pledging to wear one black dress every day for a year to practise sustainable fashion and raise funds for the education of underprivileged children living in Indian slums.

333 days and more than $60,000 in donations later, the New York-based creative director is auctioning 200 of the one-of-a-kind vintage, designer and sustainable accessories used to reinvent her look every day.

The online accessories auction features hats and hair accessories, jewellery, collars and shoes - some of which were originally purchased on eBay for the project. Also up for bidding are three complete looks from the past year, including a custom made little black dress designed by The Uniform Project co-founder Eliza Starbuck.

100 per cent of the proceeds will go to the Akanksha Foundation.

The auction is open until April 12. Bid for accessories from The Uniform Project on eBay.
