Following its New York Fashion Week showing earlier this week, Proenza Schouler has announced a new denim collaboration with J Brand jeans.
"For fall 2010, we are exploring ideas closer to home," said designers Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough in a statement.
"Denim fits the bill as the most ubiquitous item in most people's wardrobe."
Debuted on the runway on Wednesday and described as "twill pants" in the designers' notes, the high-waisted skinny-leg styles were made of high-quality Japanese stretch denim and printed, then hand painted with a graffiti scribble.
The limited-edition jeans will arrive in boutiques in July.
