Wikileaks founder Julian Assange will model for Ben Westwood (son of Vivienne) at London Fashion Week, the Telegraph UK reports.

No, Assange has not escaped the Ecuadorian embassy he currently resides in - the event will be held at his residence, with celebrity guest George Clooney rumoured to be on the guest list.

According to Westwood, the event will be a "dress up, mill about and have a drink" type of affair due to the size constraints of the embassy.

"The point is to promote Julian Assange," Westwood said. "I haven't spoken to Julian at all actually yet but I would like to. I'm waiting to hear from him now. It's funny how these things work - it goes in the press first and then it happens! I don't see why he wouldn't do it - after all he needs publicity for his case."

Assange won't be strutting his stuff on his own though: Westwood has reportedly hired a number of other "outcasts" including a 60-year old long-haired male friend to model his latest collection, which is inspired by Clint Eastwood in the movie, 'The Good, The Bad and The Ugly'.

While his mother Vivienne is yet to comment on the event, it's likely Ben will get her full support - the designer previously visited Assange at the embassy while wearing an "I'm Julian Assange' tshirt.
