According to Vogue UK, the 24-year old singer was personally approached to become an ambassador for the British fashion house, and asked to work with him on a "bespoke" range for voluptuous customers.
The singer, who is due to give birth to her first child this month, says she has “always loved” the brand, adding that she saved for three years to buy her first bag.
"I've met Christopher Bailey a few times," she said. “I remember saving to get my first bag before I got signed.”
If the collaboration rumour is true, Adele will be the first plus-sized ambassador for the fashion house, which has previously signed models including Kate Moss, Agyness Dean and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
Adele has always been vocal about body image, saying, "I've seen people where it rules their lives, you know, who want to be thinner or have bigger boobs, and how it wears them down. And I just don't want that in my life. I have insecurities of course, but I don't hang out with anyone who points them out to me."
After Chanel creative director Karl Lagerfeld called the singer “a little too fat,” back in February, Adele hit back immediately, saying, “I've never wanted to look like models on the cover of magazines. I represent the majority of women and I'm very proud of that. I don't want to be some skinny mini with my t*** out. I don't want people confusing what it is that I'm about.”
