Made entirely of 18 carat gold and solid diamonds, the creation is so elaborate it reportedly took 40 workers almost a year to make.

However, the bra’s owner, Anthony Aubry, says the bra boasts one major difference from the iconic Victoria’s Secret diamond bras: “The Victoria’s Secret bras have fabric in them and the diamonds are kind of imbedded into the fabric,” said Aubry. “This, there’s no fabric in it what so ever, it’s just solid gold.
"We’ve had three different models wear this so far out in public at shows and it never fails to turn some heads."
The bra seems particularly excessive in today’s economic climate, but it’s definitely not the world’s most expensive – aside from Miranda Kerr’s $2.5 million Victoria’s Secret bra, Gisele Bundchen modelled one worth $15 million, while Karolina Kurkova's modelled the 'Hearts On Fire' diamond 'Fantasy' bra worth $6.5 million.
It begs the question, who would actually buy a bra worth millions of dollars?

“If you just have that much money, someone would want it to say "Oh, I have a $1 million bra," or some people would put it on display at their house or something,” reasoned Aubry. “And some people, believe it or not, would actually want to wear it.”
