Androgynous model Andrej Pejic has again shown his versatility on the runway by appearing in the Rosa Clara bridal show at Barcelona Fashion Week.

The Australian-born celebrity showed off two gowns on the catwalk; one a flowing, breezy design and the other a textured cap sleeve dress.

Pejic has worn bridalwear before, most notably on the Jean Paul Gaultier catwalk, which attracted worldwide publicity at the time.

“He is quite beautiful and incredible,” commented Gaultier. “I think he has something, like, everybody can recognize his beauty. He’s like a modern woman boy of today. He’s not like the old type of let’s say, maybe like a drag queen or a transvestite, not at all. He’s Andrej.”

Pejic's next starring role will be off the catwalk – the model has reportedly signed on to play the title role in the French film adaptation of Seraphita.

“He’s a phenomenon, that’s for sure – and he’s unique, there is only one” said Pejic's agent Arnaud Vanbleus of the appointment. “Everyone wants to have him. But the thing usually is, they either don’t have the budget or we’re not interested in the project”.

He looks beautiful ! Many people on this board are just intimidating by his looks or jealous. He looks as good as Madonna wearing a men's suit.

It's not so much that he looks like a girl, as that these poor creatures in the "fashion" world don't generally look very womanly. They are all a bit androgynous. I can't help but pity them.

Shame on you Marie Claire. ALL brides are meant to look beautiful on their big day so the least you could do would be support designers that had enough initiative as to create an 'illusion' or dream-like article in which ALL brides-to-be could (at the very least) imagine themselves in whatever creation the designers displayed in your magazine!!! Shame, shame, shame....

What's more, if you're into skeletons, which normally are not expected to have any boobs, lest they be confused with women, with fixed, miserable looking faces, what does the gender of these clothes horses matter anyway? If you're into the unusual or weird the fashion industry is the go.

It seems as if his face is looking more masculine as he gets older.
