In Sydney en route to New Zealand to film The Hobbit, Bloom stopped by the Kyle and Jackie O office, where he declared on air that he was “very proud” of Kerr for having a baby and returning to the catwalk so quickly.

“I don't think it’s easy for those girls,” said the actor. “They make it look easy, but you know, it's a lot of work to look good.”
Bloom continued by saying he was aware his wife faced criticism in the public eye.
“(Models need) confidence to strut it out there. There's always the people that want to have a dig at you for this that and the other. That's the price you pay.”
Kerr, who stepped out in Sydney earlier today to attend a meeting with Collette Dinnigan ahead of the David Jones show tomorrow night, is reportedly unphased at the prospect of missing out on Valentine's Day.
“It's a tragedy,” Bloom joked. “Miranda was like, 'Oh, you're not going to be here…do I still get those earrings?"
Despite their hectic schedule, Bloom maintains that he and Miranda are "hands-on" parents to baby Flynn, saying, “'Time sort of loses its perspective and where were you and what were you doing...I don't want that to be that case with Flynn. I really want to have that connection and feel that bond."
