Daily Diary: Day Five

Today started with Stella McCartney’s show in the Musee del Opera – a stunning space to show a very covetable (and wearable) collection. We loved the boots and the long lean silhouettes.

Then it was across town to the Centre Pompidou for Japanese label Sacai. After an outstanding collection last season, this show was highly anticipated – and it didn't disappoint. The coats and jackets with exaggerated collars were stand-out here.

Nadège Vanhee-Cybulski – the former head designer at The Row and Celine - presented her first collection for Hermes. Low key, the collection aid a profound homage to the brand's classic codes.

This necklace with leather bridle and pave details was incredible, especially on this simple cream dress.

This lovely day concluded with dinner at the very fabulous restaurant, Frenchie. I am told it is near impossible to get a table, but Eva Gambalos from Parlour X has her ways and I'm very glad about that! And what's more, Stella McCartney dined right beside us - my day ended more-or-less as it begun. Fashion came full circle.
