What was your favourite MBFWA show and why?

I loved Romance Was Born. The superhero, cartoon concept was strong and fun as always and the clothing was refined. Every piece was really well considered.

From the shows you've seen this week, what are the top trends we can expect to see during summer 2012/13?
Transparent layers
Oversized, rounded and exaggerated shoulder lines
Sculptural outerwear

Prints - painterly, floral, baroque, botanical, zig zags

In the age of social media, fashion week is almost as much about what's being worn OFF the runway as it is on. What's the secret to looking photo-ready during one of the most hectic weeks of the year?

I like to keep things simple and uncluttered - this time of the year it is freezing cold in the morning and evening but really warm in the middle of the day, so layers that you can peel off and on are a good idea.

What are some up-and-coming MBFWA labels we should be on the lookout for?
Christopher Esber - his collection was his strongest to date.
Michael Lo Sordo

Sarah Philips

Favourite item you wore this week?
My new black cashmere knit from Jac and Jack and my gold Miu Miu sandals - even though they were a bit of a killer by the end of the day!
